The title should be "The Nerdiest Way to Ask a Girl to Prom," but that doesn't fit. :(

Anyway, as the title states, I do believe this is the nerdiest way ever to ask a girl to prom.

(She said "no," because she didn't have time. She did say it was really cute, though. A detailed analysis of what exactly I thought she thought of me doesn't really belong here, although you can ask if you're curious. I don't bite!)

If it isn't immediately obvious, the answer to #1 is "PRO" (Proline) and the answer to #2 is "M?"

Yeah, I got lazy on the rest of the tRNA, and some of the nucleotides are upside-down, but I didn't exactly have hours to spend on it. <_<

Oh god.
Oh god.
My ninth grade mind actually knows what this means.
I think that this is adorable.
And nerdy.
:iconumhermione:
Oh so you DID ask someone. I thought that my friends were just having a "torture May for no apparent reason" holiday or something. Oh well, guess I was wrong about them.

Less than three.

Haha, very cute and creative.

She dreams in digital.

Aww, I forgot most of my science ;_;

:thumbsup: Pretty cool. Actually what you could do to make it better is maybe convert it to over to a vector in Illustrator or another vector drawing program. If you do use Illustrator though, don't bother with LiveTrace—it's junk and actually makes what should be an easy job that much harder.

Ehh, Inkscape (which I prefer to Illustrator as a vector program) is a bit too much work for this thing. >_<

I mean, it looks nice enough already; has this "Look, I didn't spend that much time on it; I clearly have some semblance of a life! You should say yes!" feel to it.

Okay, it doesn't, but I can dream, can't I?
:iconardathksheyna:
*head desk* Inkscape! That was the name of the other vector program I was trying to remember. I kept wanting to call it Inkpot for some reason. But you're probably right about it being a lot of work. I've seen some pretty cool technical vector drawings and that's what popped into my head when I saw this.

It has that "3-minute something you'd doodle in a notebook"-look. At least she told you it was cute, though so that has to count for something ;-)
